GOLDEN PHASE – GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY

The age range of 4-5 years old is a “golden” period for children to start learning a new language for optimal and comprehensive language development. The VIA Orbit preschool English course at VIA offers children an international standard language environment, combining the A.S.K training philosophy and the exclusive S.M.I.L.E training method. Children learn with 100% foreign teachers, with a curriculum that focuses especially on Listening – Speaking – Reading skills, helping them quickly adapt to the language and acquire proper pronunciation from a young age.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

Building a Strong Language Foundation: Learning spelling, reading, and songs to prepare children for the next levels.
Developing Attitude, Skills, and Knowledge: Interactive activities, projects, and lessons about core values create a friendly and positive learning environment for children.
Learning with 100% Foreign Teachers: Maximizing listening and speaking reflexes and increasing communication confidence.

COMMITMENT

Skills:
Children are trained in 3 skills: Listening, Speaking, and Reading, according to the standards of the Cambridge Starters exam.
Basic Writing Skills: Children can identify and correctly write English alphabets.
Topics:
Children learn the topics covered in the Cambridge Starters exam, including some focused topics like Animals, Food & Drink, School, Sports & Leisure.
Vocabulary:
Children can use English to describe objects and things they have learned, with over 200 new words after completing the Orbit course.
Sentences:
Children can use simple sentences for everyday communication like:

TEACHERS

Classroom Teachers: 100% foreign teachers - teaching and organizing class events.
Teaching Assistants: Monitoring and supporting the learning progress of each child in the class.
Homeroom Teachers: The bridge between families and the school, monitoring and guiding the children's learning through each S.M.I.L.E phase.
Teacher Standards:
Graduates with Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees, holding TESOL, TEFL teaching certificates, and at least 2 years of teaching experience.
Trained in understanding child psychology and managing positive behavior.
Regularly assessed and professionally trained.
